We prepare the customs declaration for your shipment so it can pass through customs and arrive at your door as quick as possible.

Customs declarations are obligatory for non-EU destinations (and EU destinations excluded from the EU customs union).

How it works

During the shipping process we request you to enter a description and value for your shipment. Based on your inputs we prepare a pro-forma invoice or postal customs document and attach it to the parcel.

Please note that our rates generally do not include customs fees, duties and taxes. While we will do our best to support you to get the items cleared into the destination country it is your responsibility to make sure the items can be imported and pay for the cost related to the import.

Legal information

Currency conversion: When accessing this website you had the opportunity to select the currency the site should be displayed in. For your convenience prices can be displayed in different currencies, but you will always be charged in Euro. To convert the currencies we are using exchange rates that are updated when first browsing to the ShipGerman website and are provided by the European Central Bank (ECB). The ECB updates them once per day (except on TARGET closing days). It is possible that your payment provider (e.g. your bank or credit card company) charges fees for currency conversions or utilizes different conversion rates than the ones displayed here.
Value added tax: Prices include VAT if the destination country (rate calculator) or selected country (rest of the website) is an EU country. VAT is also applicable for shipments to non-EU countries if the user is not the recipient of the shipment but merely organizing the transport.
